House Hunting
It’s that time.
I’m 23 and looking to buy a house. Because, why not?
I’m actually in the market for a duplex. For medical reasons, I need to live close to my mom, but neither of us really want to live together. So we shall share a building, but not a bathroom.
Portland peeps: hit me up if you see any kickass duplexes for sale that look like they should be painted a fun...

If you ever thought that Martin Freeman WASN’T the best person alive, watch this video.
…then imagine ever scenario with him as John Watson.

It makes me wanna draw comics of these…hmm :)
I may have fallen in love with yet another actor.

A Dream
Last night I dreamt I was on a cooking show. Glen Hansard was my co-host, and he was as lovely and gruff as one would expect. We made spaghetti a la Glen (with Irish Meatballs, whatever those are) and we had great banter. Between our laughing and helpful hints for the kitchen, our audience learned about how Glen and I both prefer Teller over Penn, and where we think unicorns may have gone.

$52,000
All of my medical bills have been paid. Though I wasn’t going to pursue it, I ended up with an additional $52,000 of “pain and suffering” in my settlement, which came through today.
My lawyer came to see me at work today, bringing with him this enormous check. I work at a bank, so I see these kinds of deposits every day, but those pieces of paper with numbers on them mean a...
This will be my first weekend free of responsibility or structured activity since my convalescence and I don’t know what to do with myself! This is such a first-world problem, I know, but having too much free time can be seriously dangerous, especially now that I’m physically capable of being a hoodlum again.
Next week I’m no longer “in training” on the schedule at...

Portland people!
HEY YOU! Do you live in Portland? Do you want to live in Portland? Do you have a homeless non-jerk friend who wants to live in Portland?
My lovely roommate is leaving for a job out of town and I don’t want to leave this bitchin’ apartment, so I’m looking for a new roommate! The room will be available in July - a mediumish bedroom in a 1000 square foot apartment in the SW...
She is coming home!
After our December 8th accident, my mother spent weeks in the hospital. She left on New Year’s Eve and since then, has spent five months with family in Tacoma, Washington. I spent a few months up there too, tending to her needs and trying to heal myself. Today, I travel northward with our dear friend, Amanda, and tomorrow we are bringing Mom home.
So, if you’re in the area, come over...
Tomorrow morning, I get off my ass and start my new job.
It was a crazy interview process, but I made it. I’ll be a bank teller in NW Portland, which I think will suit me well, despite the fact that I’ll be working for The Man. I’m not going to steal all the money (unless one of you gives me a very excellent reason) and I love talking to people. Good days and bad days are the...
