Last night I went to see the opening night of Shakespeare in the Park here in Portland. Please accept this crappy cell phone pic as my proof. It was fantastic! I try to go every summer, and this year the Portland Actor’s Ensemble is staging three different productions! (click through the pic to check them out) They are currently showing The Tempest and it was fantastic. Ariel dances with fire! Lovejoy Fountain acts as the stage, and the way they use the water during the storm is perfect. GO SEE THE TEMPEST BECAUSE IT’S AWESOME.
